Annabel is a 1992 graduate of the University of Florida and a 2002 Post Graduate of Florida International University in Miami where she received her degree in Occupational Therapy. She continued further study in 2003 at Tufts University in Boston in the area of Hand and Upper Extremity rehabilitation. She went on to receive her Certification in Hand Therapy from the American Society of Hand Therapists in 2008. During this time, Annabel has worked in both acute care and out-patient rehabilitative settings. Within acute care, her emphasis was on rehabilitation of multi-trauma, burns and complex orthopaedic injuries. Within the out-patient setting she concentrated on the management of complex fractures, tendon injuries, wound care, arthritis and other repetitive strain injuries. Her rehabilitative techniques include a combination of manual therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), therapeutic exercise and advanced splinting and orthotic fabrication. She joined the Back On Track staff in January of 2018.
